Wednesday, September 4 - Sure Connexions. Sure Connexions is an interactive faith-based networking organization that meets at 12:00 PM online through Zoom, and in-person with lunch at The Innovation Spot.



This month features a special guest: Christian singer, songwriter, and author Babbie Mason. Babbie Mason is a two-time Dove Award winning singer, songwriter, author, speaker and TV talk show host, who remains a favorite to millions the world over. A Christian Music Hall of Fame inductee, Babbie Mason has 26 recorded music projects to her credit and she is the author of 9 books.

Tuesday, September 10 - Member Appreciation Lunch. To show our appreciation for our members, lunch will be provided in the coffee bar area in the main building (233 Arnold Mill Rd., Suite 300).

Saturday, September 14 - Woodstock Summer Concert Series. Eddie Montgomery of country duo Montgomery Gentry closes the 2024 Season. Even though you may catch Eddie taking a quick glance at the empty space beside him, he and The Wild Bunch are going to get rowdy in downtown Woodstock! Across The Wide opens the show. Concert starts at 7:30 pm.

Wednesday, September 18 - National Rice Krispies Treat Day. Did you know that rice is the seed of the rice plant?


A staple of the confectionery kitchen since 1938, Rice Krispie Treats have been an American favorite for generations.


Members and guests will celebrate with a variety of these delectable treats!

September 4 Fresh Start Mornings. Join us at The Circuit Woodstock to listen to and support Seth Lytle with VinoBarrel.

September 5 Brown Bag Concert Series. Twenty-six years of lunchtime acoustic music in the Gazebo in Park at City Center: the Brown Bag Concert Series returns this September!

Every Thursday at noon enjoy an hour-long concert by local musicians for a great way to spend a lunch break.

September 11 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony. Join the City of Woodstock at Park at City Center to remember, and honor, those we have lost: police, fire, rescue, emergency personnel, and the service men and women, who continue to fight for our freedom.

Visit the 9/11 Memorial that features two subway tracks recovered from beneath the crumbles of the World Trade Center.

Ceremony is from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

September 12 Taste of Woodstock. Taste of Woodstock will return on Thursday, September 12, 2024 on the beautiful Woodstock Arts Event Green in Downtown Woodstock.

Buy tickets to exchange for tastes of food from participants. Cash is not accepted at tasting tents. Tickets cost $1 each and packages start at $5. Ticket booths will be located at entrances along Market Street at Elm and Oak Streets.

Exchange your tickets for tastes from vendors. Water, soft drinks, beer, and wine are available at refreshment stands and will be sold for cash or card. See if you can conquer the tastes!

Go by the Woodstock Visitors Center table to vote for your favorite taste for the People's Choice Award before 7:15 p.m. Leave knowing you ate for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Woodstock High School Band Boosters!

Starts at 5:00 pm at the Woodstock Arts Event Green in downtown.

September 14 Touch a Truck. Join Cherokee Recreation and Parks at the annual Touch-a-Truck event! Touch-a-Truck allows kids to get in their favorite vehicles, such as a firetruck, a helicopter, police cars, and so much more! Admission is free.

9:30 am to 2:00 pm at Cherokee Veteran's Park in Canton
Quiet time for those with sensitive ears is from 9:30- 10:00 a.m.

September 25 Cherokee Career Expo. This premier hiring event in Cherokee County is designed to reduce out-commute and help residents find careers close to home. Cherokee's top employers, representing a wide range of industries, will be at this free event.

Prior to the Cherokee Career Expo, Goodwill of North Georgia will host four Cherokee Career Expo Jobseeker Virtual Bootcamps on Sep. 11 and Sep. 23, with a session at 10 a.m. and another at 3 p.m.

Event will be held at the Cherokee County Conference Center at the Bluffs in Canton from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.

Network with some of Cherokee's top employers and have the opportunity for onsite interviews. Free resume assistance will begin at 1:00 p.m.
